GV Chinese Association (Goulburn Valley) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving the local Chinese-speaking community.

- Create a platform for cultural exchange and community connection
搭建文化交流与社区联系的平台 - Promote Chinese culture and celebrate traditional festivals
推广中华文化，庆祝传统节日 - Support new migrants, seniors, families, and individuals in their settlement and integration
支持新移民、长者、家庭和个人的定居与融入 - Build partnerships with local government and multicultural communities
与地方政府和多元文化社区建立合作关系
Before the pandemic, the association organised well-loved events such as Lunar New Year festivals, Mid-Autumn gatherings, and language support programs.
疫情之前，协会举办了深受欢迎的活动，例如春节庙会、中秋联欢和语言支持课程。
Like many community groups, our activities were paused during COVID.
和许多社区团体一样，疫情期间我们的活动被迫中止。

Call for Expressions of Interest
We are gathering people who would like to be involved in rebuilding and shaping the future of GV Chinese Association.

Whether you are a student, parent, working professional, retiree, new migrant, or long-time local — you are warmly welcomed.
无论您是学生、家长、上班族、退休人士、新移民或在此生活多年的朋友——我们都诚挚欢迎您的加入。
You may want to help plan events, share ideas, support others, or simply meet new people and reconnect with the community.
您可以参与活动策划、分享想法、协助他人，或只是结识新朋友、重新连结社区。
There is no experience required — just a willingness to participate.

We’re currently forming a WeChat group to stay in touch.

In late July or mid-August, we plan to hold a relaxed face-to-face community gathering.
